USU Football

Scott had two tickets to the last USU football home game . That week at work he was offered two more  tickets. We thought this might be a perfect chance to take the kids since we hadn't been able to schedule a game to take the whole family all season. We checked the weather because we realized that it was the end of November and it would be CRAZY to take kids to a football game at the end of November. But, surprisingly, there was a warm front that weekend and it was supposed to be 50 degrees and sunny that day. What luck!
Here we are outside our house, (notice how warm and lovely it looks? No coats in sight!)  dressed in our Aggie gear and ready to cheer on our team. The kids were really excited!
We knew it would be colder in Logan but we were not prepared for how much colder it was. Logan, you never cease to dupe me! I forget your frigid ways! We brought blankets and hand warmers and everything you would need to stay warm and we were still freezing. It was that arctic wind that just freezes you to the bones. Look at how cold poor Olive was!

Since it was so cold it was even harder than we were expecting to entertain the kids. Milo was trying to play a game but.....
he couldn't keep his fingers out long enough to touch the screen. The kids were restless and crying and cold. Our plan was to stay for the first half, but we only made it for one quarter! Thankfully, Scott was a good sport and listened to the rest of the game on the drive home.
I'm not sure if you can tell but the stadium was empty! It sure looks bright and sunny but boy was it deceiving.

Here is our only attempt at a group picture.

Olive doing her best to cheer on the Aggies and show her spirit. It sure was hard!
