'Tisn't the Season

Here is our belated Christmas post. We spent the afternoon on Christmas Eve with my family opening presents, since there was suppose to be a huge storm. Then we drove to Scott's parents to spend the night with them. It felt like a college holiday and we had so much fun being there while everyone opened presents. It was a mini vacation.

O and I both got new coats this year. I am loaded up with coats, Scott has given me a new one for the last 3 years. It is like a tradition almost. My traditional gift for him is a new Futurama dvd. I also usually get him a new pair of shoes but didn't this year. Fortunately my brother took care of that gift.

I just had to show off her amazing legs. Can you say THUNDER thighs anyone? Those are just the rolls you can see, there are more in her diaper.

G & G surprised us with a perfect gift. It is a jumper and activity center in one. She is so ready to have more entertainment that just mom and dad. Here she is trying it out. She uses it everyday now.

She is saying "Merry Christmas" (almost a month ago!)

I went to the computer this morning with every intention of posting O's first Christmas pictures only to find that they are not on the camera. Hmm...that can't be good. I am pretty sure they are somewhere but I must not be savvy enough to figure out how to retrieve them. So, this will have to do.
My mom is very talented and crocheted this super cute outfit. I want to get some "real" pictures of her in it but I thought I would test it out on my own first.

This is Ollie's typical look, very concerned. Doesn't it just say "Mom, WTH are you doing?" Also, this is the perfect picture to see the wrist rolls that my sweet girl has. Is that normal?

I love this one because it really showcases her chubber cheeks. I think they have actually gotten a bit smaller this month, if you can believe that, but she was going through a crazy growth spurt. Doesn't her skin look so pretty and *olive*...that must be from her dad seeing as I am definitely on the pasty side of the spectrum.

She is getting really strong and can hold herself up pretty well, which is quite the feet with cheeks like that.


I also love the cute leg warmers. I wish I had some myself considering it has been cold and dreary, i.e. typical January weather. Boo to January.
Next post will hopefully be a Christmas post, better late than never right? If the pics are lost I am totally re-enacting her first Christmas just to get the pictures.
