Olive has become OBSESSED with babies. Seriously, she is obsessed. Whenever she see a baby that is all she can talk about. "There a baby. It's a baby an a mama. Where a baby, where?"
In all of her books she points out the babies and the mamas. She goes up to stranger's strollers to talk to the baby (seriously Disneyland was a nightmare because there were babies and strollers everywhere). In church she is yelling across the rows at the babies and gets worried if they cry and have to be taken out. Babies are all she thinks about.

She has always loved playing with her dolls. For quite a few months now she has been toting them with her to the store, or pool, bringing them on walks, and everywhere else. But she recently inherited a new doll that actually cries. When it cries she picks it up, pats it's back, and says "It's okay baby" in the sweetest little voice you've ever heard. It's like she knows what to do (mind you , it cries because it gets dropped or bonked). She is always on the move and rambunctious that this brief moment of ease, even with a pretend crying baby, really warms my heart.

I love her concentration as she feeds her baby and takes care of it.

Sometimes she gets frustrated about being a baby and says so. I guarantee that she thinks of herself as a big kid. But other times, if it works to her advantage, she loves acting like a baby. She tells us "No big girl, me baby"

Randomly, she decided that this was the perfect pose. She kept saying "CHEESE" so that I would know to take a picture. She was having Belle be the mama to this baby. It might only be funny to me, but I find her hilarious. I *heart* this girl so much.
