Critique

Recently I have been getting really inspired to try and take better pictures and understand what makes a good picture. Having a good camera is one thing, but to know how to use it to create interesting pictures is another. Sometimes I will have photo Friday to get opinions on what I am doing. Here is the first one.

I like it but I am not sure that I love it. What do you think? I want feedback!

i *want* to look at the pretty trees on the left, but the tree on the right is so huge that it feels off balance to take my eyes off of it. i keep slipping back to that giant pine, or whatever it is. but i like the angle of the shot very much.
