This is the Place and Tulips

I really had a good time at This is the Place. We went to see the baby animals but they had lots of activities for the kids. We ate lunch, they played in the houses, we got a treat at the store, and ended the trip with a train ride. What more could you want in a Fun Friday?

 Olive doing pioneer chores. She always likes helping me hang our laundry but this time she could reach it so she thought that we pretty nice.

 She loved riding the pony; her name was Honey. Olive still talks about Honey.

 See those baby animals? Those are the sheep but they had tons. We got to hold baby chicks. Pet baby rabbits and laugh at the adorable piglet. Olive kept telling me what all the baby things were called. "That a lamb mommy. Baby sheeps are lambs" "These are chicks mommy. Baby chickens are chicks" "Where's the foal?"

 Olive wanted to move into this house. I wish so badly that we had room in our backyard for a play house!

We also went to the Tulip Festival. It was a chilly and breezy day but we went anyway. Olive wasn't loving it because she was cold. Milo was as happy as can be tucked into his stroller. It was really cool and we would have stayed longer on a warmer day.

 Olive brought her magnifying glass so that she could find bugs and things on the flowers. Most of the time there wasn't anything on the flower and she would tell me "Nope, no bugs on this one!" after she looked at each flower. But she did find a few bees (that scared her) and one lady bug.

 There were lots of bird houses around and this was the first one that we came too. We were both admiring how cute it was and Olive wanted to go closer to check it out. Right as I took this picture a bird came flying out of the bird house and scared both of us, but it was pretty funny.  Olive came running back to me so fast. We just looked at the bird houses from afar after that.

My cute Monkey Milo. We have been calling that lately because he has been going "Oooo Oooo Oooo" as he points at everything. He sounds just like a monkey.
