Scott's Work Party

Scott's work had a party a few weeks ago. It was really fun going out and having a reason to dress up. I think he was looking pretty handsome right?

We went out to dinner first with some of his coworkers to Benihana's. As they seated us our server asked us if we were going to an adult Prom. She said that we looked toop old to be going to Prom but couldn't figure out what we were doing. We all started laughing our heads off. We told her we were going to a work party after we eat and it was black tie so that's why we were so dressed up. To her credit though, there were like 6 other tables there full of kids going to dances so I guess that was her best guess. 

We are so glad that Taylor works with Scott so that he and Aubree got to come to dinner with us!

The party was Fire and Ice themed but for some reason the entertainment was gambling. We started out playing roulette but I didn't know what the heck was happening so we moved over to black jack. Some of Scott's friends gave us all their chips and so on the last hand of the night everyone at the table went all in. The dealer busted on that hand and everyone was cheering and jumping around. It was actually super fun. For every $100 you got a raffle ticket and between the two of us we got like 36 tickets. 

(although it doesn't look like it, I have a big stack of tickets) So we headed over to the raffle really confident that we were going to win something. We put all of our tickets into one drawing and picked one that looked pretty empty to give us a better chance. But somehow, defying all odds, we didn't win! Overall, a super fun night.
