Chirstmas Continues

After all the fun at our house we headed to see all our families. We had gotten snow that morning and we were worried that we might not be able to make it to see everyone but fortunately the weather cooperated and cleared up for the rest of the day. I do love a white Christmas but I hate driving in it.

The kids looked so cute all dressed up in the Christmas clothes.

Merry Christmas Grandma!

The only real family picture we remembered to take.

This cute girl, I can't get enough of her!

I had Jericca for the family gift exchange so I got her some Paris stuff. I was pretty proud that I was able to get her a book with all of her Instagram posts from her trip and still keep it a surprise. So stealth!

Then it was off to Grandma and Grandpa Patterson's for more presents and cousin fun. Olive and Lizzie loved opening their stockings together and comparing their cute treasures.
Some of the big cousins got retro typewriters and the kids all thought they were so cool and spent the whole day typing messages. It was kinda hilarious.

Grandma and Grandpa gave all the kids a cool subsription box called KiwiCrate. It is so great and my kids have LOVED doing the cute projects and crafts in them every month. They come in screaming with their boxes when they get delivered.

Scott showing off his huge present. He got a really cool hover helicopter from Bruce.

After dinner we played some fun games and Olive was on a high being able to play with all of us.

And this is how we found her when we went to tuck her in. So cute! I think it was one of the most perfect days ever!

Christmas Morning

This was one of our best Christmases' yet! We had a really great morning . Our kids are at such perfect ages for receiving fun presents. It was truly magical!
We always love to find what dad has given us in our stockings.

Milo loves the show Paw Patrol and I found these little figures at the store. They were such a hit, like maybe his favorite present. He still carries them around and plays with them almost every day.

Olive was so excited when she got the Elsa doll that sings! Frozen forever!

Milo and Olive gave each other cool Aggie gear. Olive got a new cheerleader outfit but we didn't grab a picture of her in it but it's super cute.

Olive wanted an American Girl doll more than anything. A few months before Christmas she had gotten the catalog (because they are geniuses at marketing) and she would scour it for hours analyzing every doll and accessory. We really threw off her expectations because every time she would ask or mention it we would come up with a reason why we probably wouldn't get one like "They are very expensive" (which is true!) or "They are a really grown up toy that take responsibility. And she would always tell us how she was big and responsible enough for this grown up toy. She was over the moon when she realized we did get her Kit for Christmas. It was really cute. We also got her the book and video so she knows more about her special Kit. It was a pretty great experience!

We had to get some Doll&Me clothes for Olive to wear with her new prized possession.

Scott opening some of his cool presents.

Milo finally(!) got his own grown up Leapad Ultra. He has watched Olive play hers for a year now and been so jealous. He actually plays his a lot and care about it way more than Olive does. He often asks to play it during the day or on long drives and he's pretty good at most of the games. He was so happy about this gift but just so so about being in a picture.

Milo got another robot to add to his collection. This was a cool one that sparks when it walks.

He also got this cool tool set that all the tools move and make sounds like real tools which he thought was the bomb.

I got this awesome new coat from Scott because he is a great gift giver.

Family Christmas Morning Selfie!

What a great Christmas! I always love the chaos and sheer joy and fun of this morning and the total destruction of it all.

Christmas Eve 2014

Christmas Eve is one of our all time favorite traditions. We had dinner with everyone at PF Chengs. Olive was delighted to sit with all the big kids at the girl table.

I think this is like the 4th year in a row that Olive has been Mary in the family Nativity story. It's becoming a tradition. This year Veronika was a good sport as Joseph with her. Maybe someday Milo will actually be in it too.

Family Christmas Eve Selfie

Matching cousins!

Is this not the cutest picture of these girls ever? I love it!
We came home to read our all time favorite Christmas story, Christmas Oranges before we got ready for bed. This was the first year that Olive insisted that we leave out cookies for a Santa that doesn't come to our house. She desperately wants to believe in all things mythical and we won't stop her!

These two most adorable children are all ready for the magic that awaits them tomorrow!

This was a fun night because it was our first Christmas in our new house. The tree and all the presents felt so cozy in our new living room. As we were putting things out I could imagine many more magical Christmases here. I love this house!

Milo's Preschool Christmas Program

Milo goes to this cute preschool and we always love seeing the Christmas Program. Milo sang along and we were surprised by how much he sang and knew the words. The rest of the time he just played with the hat on the little girl in front of him.

Look at him doing the actions! Is there anything cuter?

He was so excited to get a present from Ms Jani.

Milo loves his daddy. I love how proud of himself Milo looks in this picture.

Here he is in front of the tree of hats and gloves that everyone donated.

This is the only picture Milo would take with his teacher. He looks real happy about it doesn't he?

Olive's Dance performance

Look at this grown up girl! Having her in make up really caught me off guard when I would look at her and gave me a scary glimpse of what a beauty she is going to be all grown up in just a few short years. Stop growing up Olive!

Olive did great in her dance performance. You could really tell that she knew the dance and felt comfortable up there. She was feeling pretty nervous before her first performance and wanted to know where we were going to be sitting. But the audience was dark and the lights were bright so she could never find us, even though we were shouting and waving at her. The second time around she was feeling much more confident.

Olive loved that Lyla and Lucy also dance at her studio, and especially the Tanya does. These girls were so crazy and hyper after their performance. This was the best picture I could get of them!

We are so glad that Grandma and Grandpa could come watch Olive. She has so much love and support around her.
