The second half of the 4th

Our 4th was so busy we couldn't cram in all into one post! After our festive snacks and playing with some friends we went over to the park for the Fun Days activities. Olive liked jumping in the bounce house and playing the carnival games although she was pretty disappointed in the quality of the prizes. Scott and I, on the other hand were melting from the heat. So we headed home for naps after about an hour.

Then it was off to Provo for our annual family BBQ. There were a few delays though but the kids were plenty happy playing with the cousins and in the water. It was a fun time.
Look at these cute boys! There were accidentally wearing the same patriotic shorts.
We did manage to remember to get one family photo! Go us!
Finally it was up to our friends house to watch the fireworks from their front yard. But we had to have snow cones first! It was perfect becuase they were so close to the park, but we could put Milo to sleep inside and actually enjoy the show. I always like the fireworks our city puts on and this year we were just far enough away that Olive liked them too. It was practically perfect in every way! Yay for the 4th of July!
