At long last...behold Olive's 3rd Birthday Princess Party.

Perfect!
In fact, we all dressed up but somehow didn't manage to get a picture of the royal family, much to my disappointment because we sure did look good (and yes that was a high school dance dress from way back when)
Here is our patio all decorated for the party, or should I say ball.
When the guests arrived they all got to make a beautiful crown.
The guests were all decked out in their best princess/prince attire and everyone looked so awesome!
Then we had the Coronation Ceremony where each guest got announced to the Princess, knighted with a sword, and bowed for the Princess at the Royal Ball.
Princess Olive and all of her royal guests.
Then it was time for the ball and boy did we boogie down to a very special Princess Party mix made exclusively by our King.
Then the ball was over and we had to find our glass slipper (but don't have pictures of it)
Next, it was time to "Kiss the Frog" to become our prince by pinning some lips onto our friendly frog.We also read some fun Princess stories and got to play with Princess Barbies until our guest of honor arrived:

Our dear friend Rapunzel played a fun game where she sang us some songs (which Olive identified every one, even Mulan that had stumped her friends). She also retold us her own Princess story.
Finally we had a delicious feast at our "Be Our Guest" banquet. It was quite the ball to remember.

These are so cute! What a fun birthday for Olive. Audrey liked looking at the pictures too. She was very excited to show me Rapunzel. :) Thanks again for inviting her.
Maren, do you mind if I link to your blog so our family and friends can see the cute pics of May and James?
Best party ever! McCoy talks about seeing "Punzel" all the time still.
Oh my goodness! What an awesome party. I should have caught up on your blog before sending you a message - Olive's preschool sounds wonderful! And I'm so glad Milo is sleeping better. It really is the first step back to sanity!
