I saw a friend do this on their blog and it got me thinking about what I do all day. So I decided to track my day yesterday.
7:46 woke up to Olive making noises in her crib
7:49 fed Olive
8:25 changed 1st poopy of the day and got her dressed (in her cute ruffle pants)
8:30 exercised while Olive watched
9:00 wash bottles
9:10 eat breakfast while checking blogs and added friends to facebook (I am still surprised by how many people are on there)
9:30 put Olive down for her nap without being swaddled (we are trying to ween her)
9:35 get dressed
9:37 washed old spit up off my shirt
9:40 get ready and make bed
10:10 got 21 emails? what the?
10:12 write Corinne back
10:17 check why Olive is crying (she was crammed in the corner of the crib)
10:20 swaddle Olive
10:21 complain to Scott that Olive can't sleep without being wrapped up but she comes out of her swaddle, so frustrating
10:22 watch some weird and high skewed/totally misinformed "documentary" about polygomy
11:00 get Olive up to eat
11:30 change another diap
11:32 play tummy time
11:45 sing some Thanksgiving songs while making Olive dance
11:51 read stories
12:13 put Olive down for a nap
12:14 read Slaughterhouse Five (I just started this book but so far I like it, it is the second book I have read this fall that has talked about the destruction of Dresden Germany during WWII just by coincidence)
2:00 take a nap (reading made me tired)
2:30 make and eat some lunch while watching Late Night
2:51 go get Olive since she just woke up
2:55 let Kitty outside
3:00 let Kitty back inside
3:01 feed Olive
3:38 change Olive's diap again
3:40 decide to go on a walk
3:41 call my sister-in-law to see if I can come over to hang out
3:42 get Olive bundled up
4:00 get myself ready
4:07 load Olive in the stroller
4:10 Scott calls
4: 12 almost drop the stroller down the stairs and tell Scott I have to go!
4:14 call Scott back
4:20 enter the park
4:30 my ears start to ache, it was a little colder than I thought
4:45 get to Becca's house hang out until Scott comes to pick us up
6:30 get ready to leave
7:00 actually leave
7:05 get home and feed Olive again
7:15 answer the door for the babysitter (another sister in law Aubree) while Scott gets Olive dressed in jimjams
7:30 leave for the movies
8:00 watch Quantom of Solace (going on a date is not actually typical nowadays)
9:55 be disappointed in Quantom of Solace
9:56 talk about why we were disappointed in the movie on the drive home
10:15 get home and feed Olive again
10:35 babysitter leaves
10:40 watch Jay Mohr do a pretty spot on impression of Tracy Morgan
11:10 get ready for bed
11:20 get in bed
11:25 Scott comes to bed
11:30 snuggle up to him and fall asleep
It doesn't seem like that much happens in a typical day, but when I break it down it is a lot of small stuff. You have to appreciate the small stuff. Right?

Great post! It's funny how similar moms' days can be. It feels like you haven't accomplished anything until you realize all the little things you did.
Just curious - what was the other book you read about the Dresden bombings?
I love this! I want to do it...I am amazed that Olive already takes such long naps! I am jealous...how did you accomplish that?!
