New Years Eve

We always look forward to the family New Years Eve party. This year was a bit different and it was hard to get in the party mood. After coming home from dinner and finding Louise really sick it was hard for anyone to get in the same spirit. The kids didn't know though, so the night must go on. They spent a lot of the evening watching tv to try and stay entertained.

When we got out the costumes and noise makers out Milo was in heaven and wanted to try all of them out.

And so did Olive. They both changed what they were wearing or using for a noise maker about 50 times.

My cute cute boys!

We still tried our best to do our party traditions. We had to improvise and move the party downstairs so there was a lot of a capella singing of the limbo.

And the chicken dance.
And the conga line.

And the macarana.

Olive was having a blast regardless, as you can tell by these awesome pictures of her!
Dancing on the table.
Sticking some awesome poses.

These two are so cute I can't handle it!

Kisses at midnight. You know how some kids, no matter what is going on, get tired and just fall asleep? That isn't our kids in the slightest. They go hard all night and both made it to midnight, even Milo.

They liked/didn't like the fireworks at midnight.

Milo decided the better viewing place was inside.
